So how does this work?

We provide technical support and maintenance for websites at an hourly rate. If you purchase an SA5 or SA10, you will receive discounted hourly support for a renewable 12-month period.

Also included at no additional charge is 24/7 real-time monitoring of uptime and security alerts. We can be on top of outages before your clients, customers, or members are even aware of them. While the monitoring itself is free, services performed to correct downtime and security issues will be billed at the SA rate.

Why is there an initial fee for hourly work?

This allows us to offer you a discount prior to having a working relationship. It also ensures that we are available to you during the Support Agreement term for emergencies or last-minute issues at no extra cost.

Are there monthly charges or minimums?

There is no monthly minimum or monthly fee for SAs. In any given month if you don’t contact us for support, you will not receive a bill for that month. However, you must utilize a minimum of 5 or 10 hours each SA term to be eligible for renewal.

What if I don’t use all of the hours?

SA fees are non-refundable. Prior to entering into a SA, we can provide an estimate of the number of hours that your project will require. If you’ve worked with us in the past, we can also provide historical data on average time spent on previous projects.

How do I request support?

When you need support, simply email us with the details or submit a support ticket at We respond to support requests within 1 business day of receipt. Urgent requests should be made by phone. Regular, non-emergency work other than software updates is completed during regular business hours, which are Monday-Friday 9am-4:30pm ET.

What services can I request with a Support Agreement?

We provide a variety of services related to your website, social media, online marketing, and more. We currently offer following services: technical fixes and troubleshooting; software updates; content updates; calendar and event management; photo gallery updates; news writing; blog posts; copyediting; marketing emails; email newsletters; social media posts and ads; Google Analytics analysis; graphic design services for web properties and printed materials; low-cost printing services, and more.

Do Support Agreements include monthly software updates?

If your website is running on Open Source software such as WordPress or Joomla, any time you request support we will run all necessary software updates. This is important to maintain the security of your website, as many of the updates fix security-related vulnerabilities or bugs that affect the function of your website. Occasionally software updates may involve a larger upgrade that includes not only security and/or bug fixes, but also functionality improvements and new features. We’ll contact you in writing with a time estimate for the upgrade. We recommend setting a schedule for regular updates to ensure the continued smooth operation of your website.

Do you bill for emails, meetings, or phone calls?

Sending an email to ask a quick question will not result in billable hours unless the answer requires extensive research. Quick check-ins over the phone will not be billed unless they exceed 10 minutes in length. In-person meetings are billed hourly for the duration of the meeting, including travel time, for a minimum of two hours. We reserve the right to begin charging for all emails and phone calls at any point if they become excessive.

How do you calculate hours?

We use a time tracker to log billable hours by the second. Hours are totaled daily and automatically added to your monthly invoice. All time is billed at a minimum of 15 minutes per day.

What are my payment options?

We use cloud accounting software to process invoices. You will receive your invoice via email within the first week of the month for the previous month. Invoices may be viewed online and downloaded as a PDF. We accept online payments by credit card, bank transfer, Apple or Google Pay,  PayPal, or you can mail a check. Payments are due within 10 days.

What happens when the SA expires?

You may have the option to renew your SA without making an additional advance payment. We will contact you with renewal information at least 30 days prior to expiration. If you cancel the SA or fail to renew, your hourly rate will revert to our PAYGO rate, we will cease security and uptime monitoring, and future support requests will be queued below current SA clients.
